34-year old woman dies after single-vehicle collision near Dubbo

CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A woman has been killed in a car crash in the Central West on Monday.

The single-vehicle collision took place at Tomingley, about 60 kilometres south west of Dubbo just before 9:00am Monday.

Emergency services were called to the scene after a Holden Barina travelling west left the road and rolled over several times.

The passenger, a 34-year-old woman, was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene.

The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was treated by paramedics before being taken to Dubbo Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.

Officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and established a crime scene which will be examined by officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.

Investigations, police say, are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
