LITHGOW, Central West, NSW, Australia – The body of a woman has been found near Lithgow, police announced on Tuesday.

The woman went missing from the western Sydney suburb of Seven Hills ten days ago, on 26 April 2019.

Police say her body was discovered in a car at Newnes Plateau, just north of Lithgow on Saturday.

Following identification police released details of the incident on Tuesday. They say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

An investigation into the woman's death has begun, in advance of a report being prepared for the coroner.
