BATHURST, Central West, NSW, Australia – An 18-year old youth has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Bathurst, in the state’s Central West.

The tragedy occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Eleven Mile Drive, in the Bathurst suburb of Eglinton.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 1:00am.

Officers from Chifley Police District were first to arrive and located the vehicle off the roadway.

The 18-year old driver died at the scene.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
