Feb 7, 2019

LITHGOW, Central West, NSW, Australia – Most of the high achievers from last year’s HSC returned to Lithgow High School earlier this week for a special assembly.

Tribute was paid to the Year 12 students who achieved Band 5 and 6 results in their HSC in 2018.

Perri Gibbons who received three band 6 results and two Band 5 results with an ATAR of 93.2 has accepted her position at CSU Bathurst to study a Double Degree in Business and Marketing.

Perri spoke to the assembly about how she achieved her top scores by having a good healthy life balance of hobbies and schoolwork and by studying hard and having the determination to achieve her goals.

She thanked her teachers for pushing her that extra mile and thanked the amazing support of the senior tutors making her totally prepared for the HSC exams.

Aside from the students with ATARS above 90, a large number of students achieved scores of 80 and above.

The school said it was proud that of ninety five mainstream students, over 45 University offers had been made.
