MUDGEE, Central West, NSW, Australia – A man appeared in a Central West court on Friday on charges that if proven will establish that he is a major drug dealer.

The man was arrested in Mudgee and has been charged with a whopping 117 offences, almost all of them related to the supply of drugs.

The arrest was part of a major investigation known as Strike Force Keryn, which officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced in October last year. The operation was set up to target the supply of crystal methylamphetamine in the Mudgee township.

Strike Force Kertyn investigators executed a search warrant at a Mudgee home on Thursday. They seized 1.2 grams of crystal methylamphetamine, along with multiple items indicative of the supply of prohibited drugs.

The man, 36, was arrested at the scene and taken to Mudgee Police Station where he was charged with the 117 offences.

He was refused bail ahead of his court appearance at Mudgee Local Court on Friday.
