Man in critical condition after altercation in Bathurst

Two men involved in a fight on Friday morning are being treated at Bathurst Hospital.

One, man aged 40, is in critical condition.

The second man, 50, also undergoing treatment, has been arrested.

Emergency services were called to Culnane Place at Kelso, about 10.30am Friday after reports two men were involved in an altercation.

When police arrived, they found a man unconscious and commenced CPR until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.

Officers from Chifley Police District established th are of the fight as a crime scene, which is undergoing forensic examination.

Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact Bathurst Police.
