ORANGE, Central West, NSW, Australia – Earlier this month we reported on the death of a 3-year old girl in the state’s Central West.

The toddler’s body was found when police were called to a home on March Street, Orange. The girl’s 40-year old mother was also at the home, and in a semi-conscious state.

She was treated by NSW paramedics at the scene. She was then taken to hospital where she has been undergoing treatment.

On Wednesday she was released from hospital and taken to Orange Police Station.

The woman, the 3-year old girl’s mother, has now been charged with murder.

She is being held without bail ahead of a court appearance at Orange Local Court on Thursday.
