Photo published of Julia Collins who has gone missing near Lithgow

LITHGOW, Central West, NSW, Australia – Police Officers from Chifley Police District have serious concerns about the welfare of a woman who disapeared from Sunny Corner, a small town located between Lithgow and Bathurst, around 12 noon on Wednesday.

Julia Collins, aged 38, was last seen leaving work on Lowes Mountain Road, Oberon, at midday Wednesday.

About 12.40pm, 38-year-old Julia was identified as being at a service station on the Great Western Highway, Yetholme, putting fuel into a dark green Subaru Forrester station wagon, NSW registration BHJ56L, believed to be her vehicle.

Officers from Chifley Police District were notified of her disappearance and commenced inquiries. A photo was released to the media just after 2:00am on Thursday.

Julia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm to 170cm tall, of medium build, with brown shoulder length hair with blonde streaks, blue eyes, and wears glasses.

She was last seen wearing a black top with white squares printed on it, black pants, and flat shoes.
