Police searching for Katoomba and Central Coast teenagers

Oct 25, 2018

SYDNEY, Australia – Two young boys have gone missing, one from the Blue Mountains, and the other from the Central Coast.

Police on Thursday issued an appeal to the public for information on the missing teenagers.

The boy from the Blue Mountains is Atreyu Davis, aged thirteen. He has not been since since he left his home in Katoomba on Monday.

The other boy, Max Brinsbury, aged 15, who was last seen by his family at a home in Wyoming, on the Central Coast also on Monday, has been located. Police say they found him on Thursday morning in Broadway near the city centre,

Officers from Blue Mountains Police District and Brisbane Water Police District had been searching for both boys.

Police believed the two boys were travelling together and were known to frequent the Sydney City areas and Inner West areas of Newtown, Dulwich Hill and Summer Hill.

It is unclear whether this in fact was correct, and if so how the pair had become separated.

Atreyu who remains missing is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build, about 168 cm tall, with a fair complexion, and short dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing baggy blue or black jeans, a maroon hoodie with “Hard Rock Cafe” on the front, and black and white ‘VANs’ sneakers.

Police and family members have concerns for his welfare.

Anyone who sees the boy, or has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact local police immediately.
