SPRINGWOOD, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – A gas main ruptured at Springwood in the Blue Mountains on Monday.

Workers had damaged the gas main causing the rupture.

Springwood Fire Station and New South Wales Police were called to the unmarked gas main.

The matter was brought under control and the main was rendered safe.

Some minor traffic disruption took place around Bee Farm Road, in Springwood.
