Tourist from New York winched to safety after snake bite
Apr 10, 2019KATOOMBA, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – A tourist from New York who had been bitten by a snake In the Blue Mountains was rescued on Tuesday.
The tourist, a woman on a bush walk in the Megalong Valley was bitten by a snake resulting in the summoning of the Blue Mountains Police Rescue and other emergency services.
After being treated at the scene, the woman was airlifted by helicopter to Westmead Hospital.
