SYDNEY, NSW, Australia – There have been a serious number of fatal car crashes on New South Wales roads on Sunday, prompting police to turge motorists to drive carefully.
Police are still at the scene of of a double fatality at Cameron Park, west of Newcastle. Two pedestrians were struck and killed by a truck on the M1 near George Booth Drive early on Sunday night.
The M1 is currently closed southbound and diversions are in place.
Police are also still at the scene of a crash near Deniliquin.
A utility rolled on the Cobb Highway near Pretty Pine early Sunday evening. The male driver and a male passenger died at the scene.
Earlier Sunday a man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Southern Highlands when his vehicle overturned on the side of the Old Hume Highway at Berrima.
Also a 64-year old man on a motorbike was killed in a crash in the Tweed area Sunday morning.
