Mudgee man caught with $368,000 worth of cannabis to appear in court
Apr 18, 2020CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A man arrested last week and charged with cultivating drugs in the New South Wales Central West wll face court in June.
The 41-year old man arrested on Thursday of last week at Mudgee, will appear at Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday 17 June 2020.
The man was arrested and charged after cannabis worth $368,000 was found at a property on Grattai Road, Erudgere, 13km west of Mudgee by officers attached to the Mudgee Target Action Group acting on a search warrant.
Officers located and seized 106 cannabis plants, 8.3kg cannabis, drug paraphernalia, mobile phone, numerous heat lamps, transformers, potting mix and fertiliser.
The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Mudgee Police Station where he was given conditional bail subject to his 17 June Court appearance.
Mudgee police say inquiries are continuing.
