CENTRAL WEST, NSW, Australia – A man has been charged following an investigation into the cultivation of drugs in the state’s Central West on Thursday.

About 12pm on Thursday officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a home on McGuiness Lane, Weetaliba, to speak with a man believed to live there.

During a search of the home officers located and seized 30 cannabis plants.

The 67-year-old man was arrested and taken to Coonabarabran Police Station where he was charged.

He was given conditional bail to appear at Coonabarabran Local Court on Monday week, 27 April 2020.
