BLACKHEATH, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – Police have released descriptions of two men they believe can assist their investigation into a shooting in Blackheath a fortnight ago.
About 11:00pm on Thursday 5 September, two men, armed with handguns, entered the rear access door of a licensed premises on Great Western Highway, Blackheath, and shot at a man, narrowly missing him.
Both men fled the scene immediately after and no injuries were reported.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, detectives are now seeking public assistance in tracking down two men they believe can assist them.
The men are described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in their early to mid 20s.
One man is depicted wearing a black hoodie and dark pants. The second man is depicted wearing a light brown jacket, dark pants and a baseball style cap.
Police are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed two altercations earlier in the evening at the same location between three men. One occurred inside and the other outside on the footpath.
